Moderate scuffing and wear along the extremities, with the leather spine flaking a bit. Owner's inscription on the first endpaper. Heavy foxing to the first and last few pages. General toning to the paper.…

This copy, given its age, is in contented and comfortable condition. The leather cover is much worn and marked and scuffed. It is secure and benign. Within, there is age related foxing throughout. However, the pages are mild, clear, assured, utterly companionable, with a presence and perception that rings agreeable even now. A sure book. fk.
