Final Draft script for the 1985 neo-noir film. With annotations throughout highlighting dialogue related to Mickey Rourke's character, Stanley White. From the collection of practical effects designer and miniatures specialist Greg Jein. Jein was gifted the script by fellow Chinese-American actor Dennis Dun, who played Herbert Kwong in the film. Jein designed the award-winning miniatures in the film relating to director Michael Cimino's elaborate reproduction of New York's Chinatown, reproduced entirely on a soundstage, and so realistic that Stanley Kubrick-born in the Bronx-had to be convinced by Cimino after seeing the premiere that it was not shot on location. Based on the 1981 novel by Robert Daley, about a Vietnam veteran turned New York City police captain who dedicates himself to stopping organized crime in Chinatown. Blue generic wrappers. Title page present, dated September 4, 1984, noted as Final Draft, with credits for screenwriters Oliver Stone and Michael Cimino. 129 leaves, with last page of text numbered 128. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, with offsetting on the front wrapper, bound with two gold brads. Grant US. Spicer US. Vintage press kit for Academy screenings of the 1988 film. Kit includes a 31 page press booklet, twelve black and white studio still photographs in their original glassine envelope, twelve clippings of "For Your Consideration" ads for the film, two ad clippings and an article clipping for the film, two copies of "Photo Captions for Color Slides," presumably for the screenings, and a Cineplex Odeon Films January Academy Screening Schedule bi-fold, all housed in a color Cineplex Odeon Films folder. Laid in is a bi-fold for the 1988 Robert Altman television film, "The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial," starring Eric Bogosian, housing two clippings of articles and a promotional photograph of the cast. Based on the 1987 Pulitzer Prize nominated play by Eric Bogosian and Tad Savinar, and the 1987 book "Talked to Death: The Life and Murder of Alan Berg" by Stephen Singular. Bogosian stars as the acerbic Jewish radio talk show host Barry Champlain, who, as his show is about to go nationwide, must confront his distrust of the network management, his dysfunctional relationship with his wife, and the increasingly threatening neo-nazis angered by his outspoken opinions. One of director Oliver Stone's more modest and affecting films. Set in and shot on location in Dallas, Texas. Folder and contents, Near Fine. …

The second of director Oliver Stone's trilogy of films about US Presidents, a semi-biographical film chronicling Nixon's impeachment, with flashbacks to his life before the presidency. Three vintage studio still photographs from the set of the 1994 film: one showing Oliver Stone and Woody Harrelson consulting a screenplay between takes, one showing Stone leaning on a railing with Robert Downey Jr., and the last showing Stone talking with Juliette Lewis. All three photographs credited to photographer Sidney Baldwin on the recto margins. After killing her abusive father, a young woman sets off on a murderous road trip with her lover, finding new victims at every stop. Their story piques the interest of an unscrupulous journalist, who spins their crimes into heroism through his sensationalistic reporting. Shot on location in New Mexico, Arizona and Statesville Correctional Center, Illinois. 10 x 8 inches. Fine. Grant US. Spicer US Neo-Noir.…

First edition of the draft script for the 1996 film, boldly signed by Oliver Stone, based on the 1978 musical stage production by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, which was in turn based on Rice and Webber's 1976 concept album, following the brief life of Argentinean first lady Eva Peron from her impoverished illegitimate beginnings to her later idolatry. The film went through many iterations of production, passing between studios and directors, with Parker returning to direct in 1994 after having initially rejected the opportunity in 1979.…
