Das vorliegende Exemplar stammt aus der vom Autor selbst verbesserten Auflage. Der Druck in Zürich zeigt die für die Zeit typische Schlichtheit, der Text ist in Frakturschrift gesetzt. Das Büchlein weist die altersbedingte Bräunung des Papiers auf, ist ansonsten aber vollständig und gut erhalten. Die einfache zeitgenössische Bindung trägt zum authentischen Charakter des Werkes bei und macht es zu einem aussagekräftigen Zeugnis der gartenkulturellen Literatur der Aufklärungsepoche.
