Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. No Jacket. Solve Sundsbo - photography (illustratore). A catalog that was published in conjunction with a major exhibit on the work of the British designer and couturier, Alexander McQueen that was shown at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City from May 4 to July 31, 2011. This blockbuster exhibit presented by the Costume Institute of the museum covered the dress designs of Alexander McQueen. Illustrated with full-page color photographs throughout showcasing his work. The text included contributions from Susannah Frankel and Tim Blanks. One of the unique features of this volume is the cover design which features an image known as a lenticular piece of artwork, where a halographic portrait of McQueen morphs into a skull when the book is moved. A unique piece of art, taken by his uncle, Gary James McQueen. Book measures 10" x 13.5" with 240 pages. Distributed by Yale University Press. The remnants of a sticker appear in the lower right-hand corner of the rear cover; it is hardly noticeable. Other than this, no marks of any kind can be found anywhere else in the book. Due to its size and weight, additional shipping charges will be required for all deliveries.
