Horizont was a premier journal of contemporary architecture in Czechoslovakia which appeared with 38 numbers in 22 issues. It showcased modernist and avant-garde design in a sumptuous presentation, with fine typography and numerous illustrations. The present work is of the second year with numbers 11-13 onward each (double or triple) issue devoted to a single theme or architect. It includes major studies of Jirí Kroha's Brno Exposition, works of Arnost Wiesner, B. Cermak, and many others, and features color drawings with metallic inks. From 1928 a supplementary newsletter, ZPRÁVÝ REVUE HORIZONT, was issued and is included with its own pagination. Three library holdings in North America found (Yale, Getty both microfiche, Met).
