Condizione: Fair. 1869. No Edition Remarks. 608 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Thumb-marking present. Water staining to title page and frontispiece. Noticeable creasing to gutter. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Noticeable crushing to spine ends. Visible tanning to spine and edges. Black and white marks overall. Textblock is shaky.

Front and backwards detached. Volume 3 front board missing. Wear and scuffs on spine. All volumes opening paste down personal period label with family shield of George Blount. o/p ghosted by label. Opening and closing pages foxing. Internally clean, little wear, the odd age spot, but text clear, binding firm. Boards let them down hence fair condition.
