Two volumes bound within a single book. Collates as [fp], [ffep], [V1 title leaf], i-vi, 1-356, [V2 half-title leaf, V2 title leaf], 1-243, [rfep], [rp]. Contemporary (i.e. 1700s) leather binding; some charring and surface losses to boards' and spine's leather; front board detached with rear board quite tenuous; board edges worn particularly at corners; four cords (raised bands) to spine with no title label present. Two ink notations on front pastedown; antiquarian ink signature at top right of Vol. I's title page along with pencil notation; red ink oval stamp "American Institute Library" also on Vol. I title page and repeated on page 1 - no other such institutional marks readily apparent upon a cursory perusal; some foxing/toning to leaves. Text block remains reasonably firm.
