1 S. Qu.-32mo. Nach einer handwerklichen Ausbildung begann Georgii 1902 mit dem Studium der Bildhauerei an der Kunstakademie in Stuttgart. 1904 wurde er Schüler von J. Dillens in Brüssel. Im folgenden Jahr wechselte er als Schüler Adolf von Hildebrands nach München, wo er 1917 von König Ludwig III. zum Prof. ernannt wurde. Seit 1924 leitete er die Dombauhütten in Passau und Regensburg, bis er 1935 einem Ruf als Prof. an die Wiener Kunstakademie folgte. Während des Nationalsozialismus zog er sich aus dem öffentlichen Leben zurück und nahm seine Lehrtätigkeit erst 1946 an der Münchner Kunstakademie wieder auf (bis 1952). Neben zahlreichen Bildnisbüsten gehören Tier- und Figurenplastiken aus Bronze und Stein sowie Reliefs und Entwürfe für Kirchenfenster zu seinen Werken.
