Insgesamt gut erhaltenes Expl. dieses seltenen Buches. - In dieser Ausgabe wird der Verfasser der Texte nicht genannt, eine erste Ausgabe der Geschichten Drobischs unter seinem Namen erschien 1850. U.a. wird von einem bösen Juden erzählt, der ungezogene Kinder in den Sack steckt. Während diese Geschichte vergleichsweise harmlos endet, indem der Müller die Kinder auf sich drehende Windmühlenflügel setzt und sie dort wohl mit dem Schrecken davon kommen, ist die Zeichnung Haases eine bösartige antisemitische Karikatur, dem Stil und der verbreiteten Gesinnung der damaligen Zeit entsprechend. Insgesamt zeichnen sich die Umrißzeichnungen durch leuchtendes Kolorit und plakative Flächigkeit aus und wirken durchaus noch "Modern".
