Monochrome illustrations in the text. Boards rubbed and with a few small spots and marks; darkened on spine; corners bumped; ends of spine crushed and starting to fray; rear joint starting to crack near head. Endpapers toned and foxed; previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Small marks on a few pages but mostly clean. Both hinges starting to crack; gutters starting to crack in places but pages remain firmly bound.

The rear inner hinge has cracked. The text pages are clean and bright. There is a previous owner's inked name on the front pastedown page and again on the front endpaper.
