Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. First Edition. Gift quality first edition hardcover in canary colored cloth covered boards with navy blue title and line drawing of polo player lining up for a shot on his pony. Tips and spine ends still sharp. No names, tears or soil in the crisp, tight 214pp text. Well illustrated throughout by western artist Franklin Hess. Original, un-clipped color illustrated dust wrapper shows a short repair at head of spine, light soil on frt flap fold and spine darkened with title still legible. No horse could hold a candle to Hush, that silver gray colt Dave and Clabe had seen running with the wild horse herd, and Dave longed to have the horse for his own. There are others who look at Hush with eyes of possession, and Dave's ownership of the horse is paved with difficulties, narrow escapes, and strange developments, which neither Dave, Clabe, the old timer, nor Dave's best friends at the Ocotillo Ranch School can forsee. An unusual horse tale that includes western riding and cowboys with the 'Galloping Game'.
