Then "Index Secundus" for 72 pages. Then "Index Tertius" for another 60 or so pages. Then "Index Quartus" and "Quintus" for another 200 or so pages. Pages clean and well preserved, well printed. First page has been reinforced at the edges with strips of new paper. Early ownership name on title page and two others on free endpaper. Contains Tiniri's commentary on the whole of the New Testament as well as the minor prophets in the Old; Joel, Amos, Abdias, Jonas and others. Text in Latin. Jacob Tirinius was a Belgian Jesuit scholar. This commentary in two volumes was his best known work. First edition of this 2nd volume. Several nice woodcuts throughout. Aggiungi al carrelloAffascinante e decorativa carta geografica della Terra Santa derivata da quella di Adricom, rispetto alla quale è abbellita da una serie di diciotto riquadri in cui sono raffigurati monumenti ed oggetti legati alla religione ebraica. Contribuiscono ad arricchire la decoratività il compasso della scala grafica, i galeoni e la rosa dei venti che riporta l'orientamento della carta. Inoltre in basso a centro, entro un cartiglio a volute, si trova la raffigurazione planimetrica della città di Gerusalemme basata sul celebre modello di Villalpando. Prima edizione stampata ad Anvera nel 1632. Esemplare in perfetto stato di conservazione caratterizzato da vivace ed omogenea inchiostratura.
