Pr…evious owner's name, dated 1913, inked on the front paste down. Some scattered foxing on first and last few leaves. Some cracked gutters, binding fragile. A history Acton Baptist Church from its establishment in 1865 to its jubilee year of 1915, written by the then vicar of the church, the Rev E J Tongue. So discursive is the narrative, it becomes as much a history of Acton (now in the London borough of Ealing) itself as much as of the church and its ministry. Very hard to find title.
