Studio sul pisano Gioco del Ponte, manifestazione storico-rievocativa di antica origine che si svolge ogni giugno sul Ponte di Mezzo di Pisa; più volte vietato e poi ripristinato nel corso dei secoli, venne poi definitivamente reintrodotto nel 1981. Il Torri (Bondeno, 1863-Torino, 1932) fu musicologo, violoncellista, compositore e bibliotecario. Diresse dal 1918 sino alla morte la Nazionale di Torino, alla quale fece acquisire le importanti raccolte musicali intitolate a Mauro Foà e Renzo Giordano.
