Elrington, Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion, The Loyal Regiment. The drawings, eleven by Strange and eight by Toze, give a unique insight into the fighting in the Battle of Singapore and the subsequent life of British Prisoners of War, including scenes at Changi, the Caldicott Working Party, transportation to Korea on the Fukai Maru, and life in the POW Camp at Keijo (Seoul). Clean and unmarked internally, covers a little tanned and bumped, overall in Very Good condition. An uncommon book.
