(Lee Jacobs bought the unsold stock after publisher Jones died and stamped each book with his rubber stamp on title page. This was stamped early on before Lee adopted the more commonly seen "Lee Jacobs Productions" moniker.The tissue guard jacket is in above average very good condition with just a trace of chipping to spine ends. No prior owner markings or bookplate. A short treatise on the history of the cups and balls effect translated into English from the original German by Barrows Mussey who is perhaps better known by the pseudonym HENRY HAY, which he used for some of his popular magic books.
