Illustrated card covers. Page dimensions: oblong 209mm x 147mm. The authors make a case that David Bain was the murderer of his family, and are critical of points made in Bain's defence by Joe Karam. The author's bring up some unusual material to support their scenario of events, such as some indigenous customs of Papua New Guinea and Margaret Bain's interest in channeling and some other New Age practices. Numerous black-and-white illustrations by Judith Wolfe.

Heavier rubbing at spine and fore edge of front cover. Edges are slightly discoloured. Simple binding is sturdy and neat. Spine glue brittle, this is one of those books from the era of imperfect "perfect bindings", where the spine glue eventually becomes brittle. If you open the book to far and crack spine, all the leaves will likely become detached from the spine glue. Ex libris bookplate of Paul Aubin on inside front cover. ; 72 pages. Page dimensions: 219 x 136mm (8 1/2" x 5 1/4"). The fourth issue of this New Zealand literary periodical, November 1973. Contents mostly poetry, some reviews. This issue has five poems by the American poet Charles Bukowski. The five Bukowski poems are titled: The Hippies and the Killer; down by the sea, the beautiful sea; A Hot Tip On The Future; Ya Know, Beethoven Conducted His Last Symphony While Almost Totally Deaf; down the silver river with one shoe off. The front cover is a photographic portrait illustration of Bukowski. Bukowski's poems are preceded by a four page introduction to Bukowski's poetry by G. J. Melling. Other contributions to this issue include: a short story "Since Whirl is King" by American writer William Wantling; four poems by San Francisco poet A. D. Winans; 3 poems by New Zealand poet Hone Tuwhare.
