Über die Jahre traten zahlreiche bekannte Jazzmusiker in Willisau auf, darunter Keith Jarrett, Ornette Coleman, Chick Corea, und viele andere, insgesamt über 3000 Künstler. 2009 organisierte Niklaus Troxler das Festival zum letzten Mal und übergab die Leitung an seinen Neffen Arno Troxler.
