Die Ergebnisse zahlreicher Einzelinterpretationen werden in Beziehung gesetzt zu den poetologischen Überlegungen…des Autors, seiner Biographie und seinem politisch-publizistischen Engagement. Der ironisch-parodistische Gestus und die Thematisierung von Subjektivität erweisen sich als die beiden Grundzüge der Gedichte. Sie reflektieren und brechen in der Auseinandersetzung mit Brockes, Klopstock, Eichendorff, Heine, Benn, Lehmann u. a. tradierte und zeitgenössische lyrische Sprechweisen sowie außerästhetische Handlungsund Deutungsmuster. Die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung werden in kritischer Absicht bezogen auf die gegenwärtige Diskussion um die Funktion ,autonomer Kunstwerke und die Bedeutung der Subjektivität für ästhetische und politische Praxis.
