My fascination with these writers of a previous generation forty-five years ago led me to undertake this project as a tribute to them.I have taken elements from their poems, deconstructed them and rearranged them to reflect the poets, or introduced new themes, rather than use the original subjects of the poems. In a few instances, I have amplified the feelings of the poet and intensified the effect. These reloaded snippets of verbal color have been repositioned and remade into a series of glass-like windows of a larger structure that is intended to honor the poets' persons. The verses might be free form, or take their shapes from classic styles , but are always circumvallated by the vocabularies and turns of phrase used by the poets themselves. Palau 350969. 20 hojas, 659 páginas, 16 hojas (índices y hoja de colofón del impresor), 16 páginas: "Conventos de la Sagrada Religión de la Cartuxa, en diferentes Provincias de la Europa, el año que se erigieron". Una lámina grabada al cobre y firmada "Greg. Huret inven. et fecit" / M DC XLIII, que representa en la parte superior el jardin y la fachada de la Cartuja de Scala Dei, y a los pies dos monjes cartujos, en el centro y añadido posteriormente, el retrato de San Bruno estampado en color rojo, orla alrededor. Otra lámina que representa el "Cenobio Scala Dei", firmada en plancha "Agustín Sellent lo gravó". Ambas láminas son propias de esta obra, aunque la primera está por cambio del retrato de Cristobal Crespí de Valldaura, que es la lámina que suele acompañar esta edición, y la del cenobio "Scala Dei", que es de la segunda edición, calcada a la primera. Por lo tanto este ejemplar es diferente aunque completo en sí. Encuadernado en holandesa siglo XIX, lomo liso con decoración de hierros dorados, cortes pintados haciendo aguas. Muy buen ejemplar. Primera edición muy rara en comercio, aunque bien representada en bibliotecas conventuales y oficiales. Este ejemplar además de contener las dos láminas en diferentes imágenes; está enriquecido con: foto albumina (s.XIX), de la imagen de la Virgen Inmaculada que se conserva en la Cartuxa de Granada; foto albumina (hacia 1860) "Ntra. Sra. de Escala Dei - Tarragona Priorato Cartuja", acompaña nota manuscrita al pie. Foto (hacia 1960) del "Altar Mayor de la Cartuja de Miraflores - Burgos". Una interesante y muy bien documentada monografía histórica sobre la cartuja de Scala Dei, y todas las poblaciones adyacentes, que de alguna manera eran feudatarias de este convento cartujo. 20,5x14,5 cm.…
