Near fine tall format paper exhibition catalogue illustrated with four colour illustrations and a photograph of her in black and white. The sheet has been folded in half , therefore there is an old… horizontal crease mark going through out the catalogue and a little thumbed. Her Second solo show at Newlyn Art Gallery, her first was in 1977. Folded Size 29.5 x 14cm (11.5 x 5.5 inches)Provenance: The artist Jeremy and Lyn Le Grice Collection. The Cornish artist Jeremy Le Grice (1936 - 2012) and his wife, a renowned interior designer Lynn. Rose Hilton was a close friend to them both. Jeremy, who had studied art at the Slade School of Art (1959-61) was an important figure in the post-war and later 20thcentury St Ives art scene. He was a founder member of the Penwith Galleries and a trustee of Newlyn Art Gallery. Le Grice lived and worked in his studio in St.Just. He attended Peter Lanyon's art classes, Peter Lanyon became his mentor; and he became particularly friendly Karl Weschke and Roger and Rose Hilton who were his close neighbors. Jeremy and Lynn Le Grice moved into Flower Loft at Trereife, near Penzance in 1995. Rose Hilton (illustratore).
