Vintage Spanish magazine advertisement for the 1934 film, here under the Spanish title "El lago de las damas." Based on the 1929 novel, "Grand Hotel," by Vicki Baum. A young man starts a summer job at a lake resort, where he falls in love. Their situation is complicated by the tomboy who lives across the lake and his ex girlfrie…nd showing up. 9.5 x 13 inches. Very Good, with creasing along the right edge and at the top right corner as well as four small tears at the right edge, presumably from creasing.

Winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, lightly age toned, with wear to the finish on the bottom right corner of the recto. National Film Registry.
