"First Published 1972 appears on the copyright page of Books 1-6 with no additional dates. Books-7-12 is a reprinting in 1987 of the First Edition of 1973. Volume 1 is in very good plus condition with sharp corners and tight binding. The edges have a sprinkling of foxing. Otherwise the pages are clean smooth and unmarked. Volume 2 is in good condition with marginalia and notations in pencil throughout the book from page 1- page 163. The edges have a sprinkling of foxing. Otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked.
