Der Ansatz der Arbeit dieser Künstler ist denkbar unterschiedlich. Das betrifft das Material, das betrifft die Inhalte, das betrifft vor allem jene Vorgaben, auf die sich Bildhauer immer beziehen: Boden, Wand und Raum. Jochen Fischers Arbeiten sind ohne den Hintergrund (die ursprüngliche Bedeutung des Wortes wird hier wieder klar) der Wand weder denkbar noch machbar. Die Stelen von Karl Manfred Rennertz existieren im Raum und für den Raum. Als von Raum umgebene Figuren werden sie erlebbar und demonstrieren ihren archaischen Anspruch. Dem Boden schließlich vertraut Thomas Virnich seine Skulpturen an, die plastischen und thematischen Assoziationsketten seiner vielgliedrigen Arbeit finden mit der Grundtatsache des Bodens ein Medium, das ihren Zusammenhang zu betrachten erlaubt. Damit ist auch gesagt, daß die in dieser Ausstellung versammelten Werke Innenraumskulpturen sind. . (S. 7) Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 550.
