Mit Kauf des Porträts konnte man also nicht nur seinen Patriotismus, seine Anhänglichkeit an das Herrscherhaus, sondern auch sein Vertrauen in den Sieg demonstrieren. Das identische Porträt mit Zitat hatte der k.u.k. Hof- und Kammerphotograph Carl Pietzner (1853-1927) bereits 1914 für eine Postkarte verwendet. - Trägerpapier etw. angestaubt u. in den Rändern stockfleckig.
