Wolf VOSTELLE (1932-1998) est né à Leverkusen, au nord de Berlin. C'est une des figures pionnières de l'art vidéo ainsi que du mouvement Fluxus. Figure allemande essentielle de la deuxième moitié du XX ème siècle, il se caractérise pour des techniques telles qu'estompage, décollage, de même que l'encastrement dans du béton.
