This catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition of work by the English artist Cecil Collins (1908-1989) held at the Anthony d'Offay Gallery, London. Throughout his long career, Collins retained many of his best works in his own personal collection, and that of his wife, the painter Elisabeth Collins. The paintings in this exhibition were carefully selected by Elisabeth Collins herself, and include many well-known works such as "The Poet: Image with Forms", 1935 and "The Gatherers of the Fruit", 1955.
