The book is a guide to Oriental rugs ,which includes a brief description of rugs made in various towns and areas in Turkey, Greece, the Caucasus, Armenia, Central Asia, Persia, China, India and North Africa as well as the usual sections on weaving, looms, wool, choosing rugs, and caring for them. It also include three pages on insect pest, with pictures. In French. There is also a German version. Hardcover. Used, fair condition. No internal comments, hinges and pages intact, but scattered foxing on end papers. Dust jacket in fair condition, stained, and with tears repaired with tape. Book.
