This is the wartime biography of Captain Walker - officer of the 9th Brigade Durham Light Infantry. He was captured and imprisoned in several Nazi prison camps; Laufen, Poznan, Biberach, Warburg, Eichstatt, Spangenburg, and finally Colditz. He was rescued by the Allies Army and returned to England on 19th April 1944. Tragically he died some two years later, after surviving his long imprisonment. A near fine copy of a SCARCE limited first edition SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, LESLIE W ROBINSON. Presentation Copy Inscribed And Signed.
