Hardcover. Condizione: New. Condizione sovraccoperta: New. Limited Edition. A beautiful Suntup Press limited edition of an American classic named by Modern Library as one of the top 20 best novels of all time. 'Slaughterhouse-Five' is Kurt Vonnegut's semi-autobiographical, science fiction infused anti-war masterpiece that defies genre. An instant bestseller when it was published in 1969, 'Slaughterhouse-Five' made Kurt Vonnegut a cult hero in American literature, a reputation that only strengthened over time, despite the book being banned and censored by some libraries and schools for content and language. This Artists Edition from Suntup Press is limited to 1000 unnumbered copies, signed by Julian De Narvaez to the limitation page. The book has a full cloth, smyth-sewn binding blocked in foil; a dust jacket featuring wraparound artwork by Julian De Narvaez; six full colour illustrations by Julian De Narvaez, as well as ten pen and ink vignettes which appear at the head of each chapter; illustrated endpapers; and a frontispiece illustration by the author's artist daughter, Edith Vonnegut. 238 pages. 6'' x 9''. The book is housed in a slipcase covered in dyed through paper. Two bookmarks included. Printed and bound in the U.S.A.
