I.II. & III. by Somnambulus [Walter Scott], presumed first thus, 1819, 55pp. Rob Roy, A National Drama founded on the Celebrated Novel of the Same Name by the Author of "Waverley" [by Isaac Pocock], undated c1822, frontispiece and 68pp. The book is bound in marbled paper covered boards with brown cloth corners and spine and a small label reading "Tracts" on the spine. The binding is probably from the late 19th century, and the case of the book is in good to very good condition with shelf wear and some soiling to the boards. the spine ends are bumped with a little damage to the cloth on the spine corners and there is a split in the cloth of about 1 1/2" on the bottom of the front spine edge and a split of about 1" on the bottom rear spine edge. The contents are tight and the pages generally clean with some of the works in the book having some scattered soiling, staining and light foxing. The soiling is mostly noticeable on the first and last pages of some of the works in the book. The frontispiece to the drama 'Rob Roy' has a 1" tear on the fore edge that has an old paper repair on the back and the title-page shows offsetting from the frontispiece.
