Binding and cover are slightly browned at the edges, the latter with small tears. 28 (1) pages with monochrome illustrations, followed by the 19 full-page color plates. The edges of the text are slightly stained in places. Endpaper with a three-line private dedication in old ink, there also an imprint of a paper clip.
