Aggiungi al carrelloCondizione: Fair. Presumed first edition, undated (as often with Warne) but has gift inscription to front free endpaper dated 1913: from style perhaps earler, 1890-1900. Hardcover book . Pictorial paper-covered boards with red cloth spine, lettered in black to spine, and in red and green to front cover, with chromo-lithographed…illustration. Unpaginated folio, 33 x 25cm. With 12 lovely chromo-lithograph plates showing a variety of animals, farm, domestic and in the zoo; as well as line illustrations in the text throughout. This was a book to help young children learn to read and count, and also had longer texts to be read to them on different animals. Fair condition overall, although the plates are good. The front cover is largely clean and bright, the back has scribble on it. The binding is very slack and a few pages are loose. Presumably all present. Various handling marks, and some spots, and wear to page edges, but the plates are mostly clean and bright with some small marks to margins (one has some light scribble to margins). Pictures available.
