Aggiungi al carrello154pp [plus 16pp Explanation of the Plates, pages numbered 135 to 150], 12 plates; xii, 174pp, 10 plates 24x16, half bound in green calf over marbled boards, spine decorated in glt and red. Boards and spine rather rubbed and worn, edges of spine splitting, some pencil annotations (in the form of corrections, apparently), hand written dedication on fep, some browning and foxing, fair to good copy thus. The odd numbering of the Essays appears to because of the insertion of the List of Cathedrals after the original page 134, resulting in two pages with each number between 135 and 150.The handwritten dedication is an In Memoriam to Arthur Bertram Ridley Wallis, who was killed in a motor accident on 16th December 1931. Many of his brass rubbings can be found in the V&A. His name is on the ffep, dated 1893 which indicates that the book was his.
