The gilt lettering of the spine is not the clearest, but is perfectly readable. The spine itself is somewhat loose, but it is in good condition nonetheless and fine for reading and storing. No previous inscriptions or ex-library marks. Frontispiece is an image of the author in his home. The pages are all slightly age toned, but the title page is in good condition with only the slightest suggestions of foxing. All illustrations clear, bright and in very good condition. A good copy of a fascinating account of the development of radar by the leading figure in the development of RADAR, the invention which is given much credit for winning the Battle of Britain and the Second World War as a whole.
