Lüps war ab 1938 einer der Leiter der Henkel-Werke und später Wehrwirtschaftsführer im nationalsozialistischen Regime. Er starb während eines Fliegerangriffs im Frühjahr 1942. Der hier dem üblichen Monatsheft des Henkel-Chemiekonzerns vorangestellte Teil, im Umfang von 12 Seiten und auf stärkerem Papier, enthält zahlreiche Texte und fotografische Abbildungen zur Verabschiedung von Werner Lüps innerhalb des Henkel-Konzerns: Trauerfeier Gesolei-Saale / Trauermarsch / Goldene Fahne wird dem Toten vorangetragen / Belegschaft marschiert / Abordnungen der Wehrmacht / Männer der Werkschar und andere mehr. Heute äußerst seltene Archivalie zum Henkel-Konzern aus der NS-Zeit.
