This book is a very comprehensive history of…Naval aviation in Canada covering the years starting in 1943 through the Gulf War. It is well illustrated with photos, organizational charts and maps and the book's focus is on Halifax and Shearwater, Nova Scotia. Conceived by Captain Rolfe G. Monteith C.D., R.C.N. (Ret'd) the book reflects the collective efforts and recollections of retired Naval service personnel. This is a substantial book, 496 pages, with page measurements of 278mm x 210mm. It is in near-fine condition in a fine dust jacket, that is now in a protective mylar wrap. The minor fault keeping the book from being fine is half a dozen pages being dog-eared at the bottom, and these will get better over time. The weight and size of this book may require extra postage. A very scarce book.
