Original Printed Wrappers. Condizione: Very Good. First Edition. San Francisco: Sierra Club, 1907. First Edition. June, 1907 Issue [Vol VI, No. 3]. Original printed wrappers, 9 1/4" x 6". 58 numbered pp. + 15 photographs on 10 pages + 8 pp. ads, which latter include several sharp railroad/travel ads. Good, plus; rear cover shows… notable tear from long ago, tape-repaired long ago; see scan. No other salient flaws, other than the ever-present crinkle to the edges of the covers and some of the uncut pages caused by the over-extended circuit-binding ("yapp" binding) favored by the Club at that time. Contents near fine. Clean, binding sturdy. Closer to VG than Good, but, technically, Good. See all scans. Lead article by Alden Sampson, "The Aftermath of a Club Outing" (?!), spans some 23 pages. Also in this issue: Along the Foothills of Lake Chabot (W.R. Whyte); Mt. Rose Weather Observatory (J.E. Church, Jr.); The Ascent of Asama-Yama (E.A. Wicher); and regular departments. Illustrated as always with plenty of black-and-white photographic plates. Scarce. LSC1. From Photographs (illustratore).
