Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. 1st Edition. Book(s) Condition, Very Good: The Art of Boxing: Small chips and creasing across the original dust jacket, particularly along its top edge. A small tear and marks across the back cover. Otherwise excellent externally, artwork and decorative borders bright and vibrant. Green softcover binding in excellent shape. Text block heavily tanned due to age, edges frayed. Pages internally are clean and tidy. Book tightly bound. The Art of Boxing, first edition softcover published by Foulsham's Outdoor Library, is a rare and historically significant manual by the legendary world flyweight champion Jimmy Wilde. Combining practical instruction with firsthand insights, it guides readers through footwork, punches, defense, and ring strategy, while also serving as a fascinating record of early twentieth-century professional boxing. Its scarcity and connection to one of the sport's greats make it highly desirable for collectors of sporting literature and boxing history. Golf Really Explained!: Small chips and rubbing to the edges of the dust jacket, marks and small tears across back cover. Otherwise excellent DJ, artwork popping with colour despite age. DJ protected by plastic slipcover. Green softcover binding in excellent shape. Faint marks across text block, but mostly clean, crisp page edges. Pages internally are clean and tidy. Book tightly bound. Golf Really Explained!, first edition softcover with original dust jacket, published by Foulsham's Outdoor Library, is a scarce instructional work combining clear guidance on swing, strategy, and course etiquette with insight into early twentieth-century golf culture. The surviving dust jacket enhances its collectibility, making it a prized item for enthusiasts of golf history and sporting manuals. Its accessible instruction and period charm make it both informative and highly appealing to collectors.…
