This edition contains the 1854 London Volumes XI & XII, with their original title pages, with the single Lippincott 1856 title page placed at the front for the U.S. edition. Book.

Boards have moderate corner bumping and edge-wear with visible tanning, rubbing and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier rubbing and tanning with soft splitting, chipping and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
