The title page of Vol 1-2 states (Temporary Title A Beautifully Steel Vignette Walmer Castle is in the Hands of the Engraver) . Pagination: Vol I xxiv, 344pp; Vol II 408pp; Vol III 376pp; Vol IV 288pp. With a frontispiece to Vol I, II and III and plates bound in at the rear. No maps. Provenance: no inscriptions or bookplates. Approximately 11 inches tall (28cm). Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles to red label, gilt decoration to the compartments, rubbed, faded and worn.
