A very respectable copy of this sumptuously illustrated (in b&w and colour) visual celebration of Glyndebourne dating from the 1930s through to 2008. Over 450 images are accompanied by the recollections of Sir George Christie. There is a forward lean to the spine but the sewn binding remains tight and fully intact. Previous owner gift message present on front free endpaper else interior in excellent, clean condition throughout. The black cloth boards have just a small bruise to rear corner tips otherwise very little sign of wear. The unclipped dust wrapper displays some surface wear to rear cover and sunning to top & spine-edge of front cover - overall remaining Very Good with no tears or loss. Please see 16 pictures attached for a closer look at content and condition. Note: Owing to 2.4kg weight an adjustment to shipping charge will be requested for International ordering.
