Ledig. 1934 Rückkehr mit der Familie in die Schweiz. 1946-1947 Lehre als Keramikmalerin in Thayngen. Beeinflusst von der Pittura metafisica. 1946 Beginn des autodidaktischen Malens. 1949 erste Ausstellung in Schaffhausen, in der Folge rege Ausstellungstätigkeit. Verschiedene Auslandaufenthalte, so 1950-1952 in Amsterdam, 1960 in München, 1966 in Paris und 1978 in Indien. 1953-1966 Atelier in der Künstlerkolonie Südstrasse in Zürich, anschliessend in Merenschwand, ab 1973 Atelierhaus in Brugg. Ab 1965 lösten grossformatige Collagen mit politischen und weltanschaulichen Inhalten (u. a. Umweltthemen) die Malerei allmählich ab. Am bekanntesten wurde Eva Wipf durch ihre schreinartigen Objektassemblagen, die ab 1967 entstanden und oft religiöse Symbole enthalten. 1959 und 1965 Stipendien der Stadt sowie 1968 und 1969 des Kantons Zürich sowie 1975 Werkjahr des Kantons Aargau)» (HLS).
