Auf dem Titel vom Künstler signiert "Herzlichst Friedrich Hechelmann". Ohne den losen numerierten und signierten Siebdruck. Der Maler, Filmemacher und Buchillustrator Friedrich Hechelmann (*1948) wurde wesentlich von der Wiener Schule des Phantastischen Realimus beeinflusst. An der Wiener Akademie war er Meisterschüler von Rudolf Hausner, einem der wichtigsten Vertreter dieser Kunstrichtung. Er schuf neben Gemälden, Zeichnungen und Bronzen zahlreiche Buchillustrationen. Diverse Fernsehfilme beschäftigten sich mit ihm und seinem Werk und als Filmemacher realisierte er selbst einige Filme. Für August Everding schuf er die Ausstattung für eine Verfilmung der Oper "Hänsel und Gretel" und für Herbert v. Karajan malte er das Ouvertürenprospekt der Verfilmung von "Das Rheingold".
