Oft geäußerte und noch öfter still empfundene Wünsche erfüllt die erste Arbeit. Man erhält hier nicht nur einen Überblick über die Inhalte der gebräuchlichsten Lutherausgaben, der Weimarer, Erlanger, Bonner und Braunschweiger, sondern z. B. die Möglichkeit sofort genau festzustellen, ob eine Schrift von 1520 oder 1530 außer in der Weimarer und Erlanger auch in der Bonner oder Braunschweiger Ausgabe und wo sie dort zu finden ist, noch mehr: es läßt sich jetzt sofort genau feststellen, was ein Zitat, wie W. A. 302, 250, oder W. A. 341 130 bedeutet und ob die betreffende Stelle auch in den leichter zugänglichen Ausgaben zu finden und wo sie dort zu suchen ist. Es mußte gleich ganze Arbeit gemacht werden, darum sind z. B. die Predigten einzeln aufgeführt. Die zweite Arbeit bietet ein Verzeichnis der Briefe Luthers an Stadträte oder andere Körperschaften und von solchen an Luther, alphabetisch geordnet nach den Orten, ferner ein Verzeichnis der Briefe von Luther an Privatpersonen und von sichen an Luther, ein Reiseindex, ein Index der Personen, die den Reformator besucht oder bei ihm verkehrt haben, einen Predigtindex nach Bibelstellen und z. T. Themen, endlich Indices : Luthers Disputation, Lektüre, Ordination und Vorlesungen daß alles, soweit es in Buchwalds Luther-Kalendarium erwähnt ist. - Wikipedia: Otto Konstantin Clemen (* 30.
