Content would thus be printed on the two exposed sides of a folded sheet. Musical notations arranged by Lynn Murray and Richard Hamilton; calligraphic notation by Calvert Guthrie. The Rabinal is one of the last books designed by Carolyn Hammer before her retirement from the King Library Press, and has been called "perhaps the most ambitious and imaginative work done at the press" (Holbrook, An Introduction to Victor & Carolyn Hammer, p. 36).
