SIGNED and warmly inscribed regarding the cooperation of HQ RCE 3 Cdn Div CHOF for the production of the book, signed, sincerely JER Wood, London 18 June 46 to the ffep. Very gently read. Age toning to page extremities, occasional finger smudge and a 2cm x 4cm stain to the fore-edge of the ffep. Otherwise the interior is clean and free of any markings. Rear gutter is starting but very firmly attached. Blue linen boards are lightly bumped and rubbed to extremities with some minor soiling to show. Spine is a bit sunned. Bright gilt titles to spine and front board. Without a dustjacket. Colditz or the Escapers' camp was the Nazi response to the constant and relentless escape attempts of many allied officers.
