From the library of Ronald Searle (1920 - 2011) British artist, illustrator and satirical cartoonist. Searle has inked the title on to the spine in his neat and distinctive hand and pasted in and briefly annotated a small catalogue clipping at the rear. He lived near some of the places described Clean VG sound copy.

A two volume set, the text blocck is sound with a very minor amount of foxing. both volumes are split at the front hinge but boards still attached. Previous owners signature on top of titles pages and a different signature on front verso, Half bound leather with marbled boards. Paste on titles still present and clear however the spine leather is quite worn and vol. II has a piece missing. at top and mid section Vol I has a piece missing at top. Bumping to most corners.
