This project consisted of valorising these wastes into paper used to produce paper bags by Soda pulping, which gave pulp yields of 42….5% and 58.5% for pineapple crown leaf pulp and cornstalk pulp respectively. These wastes were used for paper manufacture due to their lignocellulosic content which was gotten as follows: 67%, 18.3%, and 7.5% for the cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin contents of pineapple crown leaves respectively; and 48%, 30.2%, and 13.1% for the cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin contents of cornstalks respectively.The paper which was produced using varying proportions of mixtures of pineapple crown leaf pulp and cornstalk pulp was analysed based on the following parameters using TAPPI (Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry) methods: pH by the TAPPI T 435 Standard method, grammage by TAPPI T 410, water absorbency by TAPPI T 432, opacity by comparison with a 100% opaque black sample sheet, and the tensile strength by the drag and pull method using the spring balance. 84 pp. Englisch.

Out of 564 students who took part in the study, 44.7% belonged to age group of 15 years, 78.7% were boys, 63.5% belonged to 9th standard, 92.2% had access to internet through Mobiles, 40.8% preferred time to internet use was night, 51.8% students used internet for gaming, 5.7% had Full impact on life and 5% had Severe Excessive daytime sleepiness. Study of the electronic adjus…tment process of the liquid flow was performed under laboratory conditions, by simulating on a stand the real operating process and also in working condition. The analysis of the obtained results highlights in case of change of the displacement velocity a prompt response of the adjusting system, being necessary approx. 7.0 s for flow correction. The predominance of errors between 10% and 15% is not excessive and the cumulative value of the surfaces on which the prescribed liquid norm has not been ensured is insignificant. In order to achieve a comparative study of the sprayer under field conditions were performed tests, in the conditions of variable displacement velocities, with the adjusting system connected, respectively disconnected. The obtaining data highlights the necessity to equip the sprinkling machinery with electronic controllers, which ensures a superior adjustment process imposed by agrotechnical requirements. 52 pp. Englisch.

The common practice is to use a nonlinear programming technique, evolutionary algorithm such as simulated annealing algorithm, genetic algorithm, etc. for finding out optimum cutting conditions for a single pass turning operation. The constraint inequalities are represented in terms of cutting speed and feed. These relationships give a linear closed polygon in ln speed-ln feed plane using principle of geometric programming and simple logic. It has two major purposes: (1) to find an optimal set of audio features providing distinction between normal and disordered speech; (2) to…create a Machine Learning (ML) classification algorithm able to analyze extracted features and detect sigmatism at phone level. The features are selected according to the phonetic background of considered sounds.They include first three formants, root-mean-square (RMS) amplitude, spectral peaks, spectral centroid, spectral skewness, and first 12 mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs). Three ML methods are considered for sigmatism detection: Support Vector Machine, Gaussian Process, and Neural Networks. The process of feature extraction as well as automatic classification are conducted via Python scripts. As a result, the model based on SVM with the RBF kernel showed the highest accuracy rate of 90.6 %. 80 pp. Englisch.

This study aims to describe the various aspects o…f PPPs in Health Supply Chain Management (HSCM) in Rwanda. The PPP interventional areas used in HSCM in Rwanda were namely supply of commodities (99%), delivered health Information Technology (IT) supplies and equipment (operate) (53%), finance (52%), and maintenance area (40%). The main challenges were limited conversation and absence of formal platforms for public and private engagement (83.7%) and complex procurement requirements for medical products and equipment by public institutions (73.3%). The strategies to improve the PPPs in HSCM were effective coordination of PPPs (93.3%) and improved dialogue and formal platforms (90.6%). These findings indicated that private sector through PPPs plays an important role in HSCM in Rwanda. The engagement of the private sector can increase the financial support in terms of financing HSCM activities like supply of health commodities and equipment. 80 pp. Englisch.

The poverty line and headcount analysis shows that, the number of poor rice farmers below the poverty line was much higher, compared to the Beneficiaries. The poverty gap analysis result further proved the fact that the relative increase in income realized by the beneficiary rice farmers was attributed to their participation in Fadama III project based on the positive income differential value obtained which was significant at 5% level of probability level. The t- test analysis shows that there was inequality and heterogeneity in the coefficients and slope respectively between project beneficiary and non beneficiary farmers' income function and expenditure. Hence the null hypothesis is rejected.Also the major problems encountered in the course of the programme as identified by the beneficiaries includes access to loan, funding and Transportation. 88 pp. Englisch.

Data was collected from actual online shoppers in Yangon, with a response of 634 valid questionnaires. The multiple linear regression method was used to test the statistical results. From the study, we found that product, people, process, and physical evidence have highly statistical relationships with customer satisfaction Likewise, product, price, process, and physical evidence has highly positive correlations with customer repurchase intention.
