It's a cross sectional study conducted over 15 months ,involving a representative sample of 293 nurses working in 2 university hospitals It included an evaluation of physical capacity through different tests allowing the evaluation of the maximum hand grip strength (grip strength), joint flexibility, respiratory capacity (peak flow), strength of the lower limbs (sitting and standing test)and postural controle (balance test).Cognitive ability was performed with the manual dexterity test (O'Connor), the Corsi cubes test, the reaction time test and the Stroop Victoria test.The study was completed by a questionnaire exploring the ability of work(WAI), Karasek scale and quality of life. 52 pp. Englisch.

The three structur…es are studied in the pressure range from 0 to 90 GPa, in order to predict the critical transition pressure from magnetic to nonmagnetic states (NM) and a possibility of superconductivity in this state was predicted. Mechanical anisotropies in both cases are discussed by calculating different anisotropic indexes and factors. We have plotted the three dimensional (3D) surfaces and planar contours of bulk and Young moduli of FexB (x=1, 2, 3) compounds at several crystallographic planes, ((100), (010) and (001)) to reveal their elastic anisotropy. Furthermore, the relationship between crystal structure and material hardness of FexB is also investigated by calculating hardness of Fe-B and B-B bonds using Mulikan population analysis and semi empirical hardness theory. By the elastic stability criteria, it is predicted that FexB are stable up to the selected pressures. 56 pp. Englisch.

This study focuses on the exposure of Palestinian students at two major universities to the Islamic websites, and sheds light on the extent to which those students are influenced by them. The study, based on the Use and Gratifications Theory, depended on the descriptive approach, and used the quantitative analyses, examined a sample of An-Najah and Birzeit universities in the Palestinian West Bank, and found that more than half of students are exposed to Islamic websites, and regard them as a reliable source of information. Each egg-pod contains 70-100 eggs, and each female may lay several (4-5) pods of eggs. Egg development takes two or more weeks according to temperature giving hoppers over a period of several weeks the hoppers pass through five instars before they become adult. The non-flying nymphal or hopper stage can form bands. The aim of the present work is to elucidate the susceptibility of the locust S. gregaria towards invasion with two nematode isolates; Heterorhabditis indica, (RM1) and Steinernema glaseri. Allelism analyses indicated that the two novel mutants are alleles of myb26, whilst another two novel mutations at different loci. In the light of the existing studies, researchers always introduce new curves. Although, the differential geometry of curves in E^3 can be fo…und in many textbooks and in the contemporary literature on geometric modeling, there is little literature in E^3 and hardly in E^4 and E^n in the study of differential geometry of intersection curves. Some intersection curves have been studied by many geometers and obtained some interesting results. Here, we work with one of the important classes of surfaces which are called the implicit surfaces in a four- dimensional Euclidean space E^4. And we present formulas for computing the differential geometry properties of the tangential intersection curve of three implicit surfaces in Euclidean 4-space E^4. These properties include (the tangent T, the principle normal N, the binormal vectors (B1;B2) and the curvatures (1; 2; 3) of the intersection curve). Furthermore, we give examples to explain our main results. 128 pp. Englisch.

Consequently, this paper is concerned with studying the unsteady flow that may exist in open channel , and its mathematica…lly governed by the Saint Venant equation using a four-point implicit finite difference scheme. From many hydrologic software, HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Center - River Analysis System) is a good choice to develop the hydraulic model of a given river system in the south of Iraq represented by Al- Kahlaa River by a network of main channel and three reach and a total of 57 cross sections with 3 boundary sections for one of the applications . The model was calibrated by using the observed weekly stage and flow data . The results show that a good agreement was achieved between the model predicted and the observed data by using the values Manning's(n=0.04) for over bank with the values of Manning's ( n=0.027) for main channel and also with using time weighting factor ( th ) equal one . 148 pp. Englisch.

The multibody model c…orrectly describes the motion and inertial characteristics of simple/complex drive train. Using lagrange multipliers associated with constraints of multibody systems can calculate the reaction forces into drive train components, which enables stress analysis and design process can be establish. In recent years, mathematical models for multibody dynamic systems have become an important design and analysis tool. Multibody dynamic systems are presented by series of rigid and/or flexible links containing a wide variety of joint types. Based on the dynamic model and the obtained forces, the design process of an epicyclic gear train is applied with trade-offs optimization in terms of gearing parameters. Numerical example of one-stage transmission is presented and the comparison with MSCADAMS software shows an excellent convergence. 132 pp. Englisch.
